    Maybe a 24" barrel is a better choice in a varminter?

    I own one and really like it. Hornady 55 gr V Max shoots best. I have a Burris Fullfield II 6.5X20 scope on it and that works great. Groups similar to what the one did in this review. Did find a slight flaw in the gas piston, but Ruger replaced it quickly.

    I just got one and fired a 1/2" 4 shot group at 100 yds using the Hornady Superperformance Match 75gr #80264 that you used. Also had the same I shot out that you did. Mine had some creep in the trigger so I returned to Ruger(they sent UPS pickup for it) for them to fix. Trigger pull was 3 1/2# on my Timmey scale.
