  1. Does not look AR friendly, with front sight post.
Looks like the laser will intersect on the front sight post.

  2. I have an S&W M&P 15 Sport with the A2 front sight. I hadn't thought about the laser of this BSA scope possibly not working with that front sight. Can you tell me if that is a problem?

    Thanks!

  3. The laser will not work with a fixed front sight. The centerline of the laser is about 0.56" above the rail.

  4. Also, it may or may not work with a folding front sight depending on the height of your front sight when folded. I added these comment to the Con portion of the review. Thanks.

  5. I recently purchased the TW30RDLL for my Colt AR that still has a carry handle. Leaving the light on top of the sight system makes the whole unit look a little top heavy, if there is such a thing. I happened to have a cantilevered scope mount laying around, so installed that with just the sight system. I took the flashlight and mounted that right in front, and just below the sight package. The laser clears the fixed front sight with no problem - and the cool thing is when you turn on the flashlight, the front sight is silhouetted on the target (close range). Mine came w/o pressure switch and allen wrenches, nor the directions on how to change batteries. But for the money, well worth it.
